My husband is getting sicker with an illness that seems to be linked to his ongoing endocrine problems. He's weak, he needs to be fed, he needs to be watched. Last night was a flurry of searching for his glucose monitor and figuring out how to used the darn thing and freaking out because his reading was so low and quickly making him something to eat and did you know that people with low blood sugar can be a bit ... Cranky? Then a long restless night because I was so worried.

The depression is bad and I just don't feel strong enough to cope with all of this. Unfortunately our budget doesn't run to cooks, maids or nurses. I'm just so tired and the future is so too scary to contemplate. If anyone has any experience with caring for a sick relative while depressed, I'd really like to hear it.
