Hi shane. This isn't really the forum for it, but thats ok no one will mind.

Why are you feeling lonely? Care to share your story?

Hi Shane,

Welcome to BTB. I hope you find the group helpful. Feel free to open up about feeling lonely if you're comfortable doing so. Many people here would be happy to listen and I'm sure a lot of them would also understand.

I am in the same position I have started to praying.

My family has told me there done with me, and have not heard anything back for several months. My friends have all moved on against me. I have literally no one I have texted or called,

There reason I got laid off after coming back from a sick leave, after a large anxiety attack. I decided to take time to myself and go to school, they think I'm on welfare which I'm not. It's messed up

It's not how we fall which defines us but how we rise after falling

I feel lonely too, especially on the weekends. Everyone schedules activities on the 5 weekdays and then they disappear on Saturday & Sundays. People go out of town to the mountains. I waste far too much time on the internet, hoping to make a connection--to give me the illusion that I'm not alone even though I'm sitting by myself at a computer. I wouldn't do that if my family lived near me or if I were marrried.

I skipped an art class on Monday to go to a concert. All of that after a full work day. When it rains, it pours. I'm either too busy or not busy at all. Then on the weekend I do almost nothing. Being depressed doesn't help. It gets in the way of othe things like writing and applying to college.
