Just as an FYI for those of you with an iPhone, there is a free app that allows you to access Invision forums, including BTB, via your iPhone.

Don't know of one Tant. You can try changing the skin here to IP Board Mobile and see if that helps the browsing from your phone.

I do not even have text capabilities on my phone so this is far advanced for me, but maybe one day I will catch up.....when the storm is over.

Yeah, I did try the mobile skin, I didn't like it very much for some reason; yeah I'm picky lol. So I end up using the full version, not the perfect solution either. To be completely honest though, I'm making excuses, I just love apps.

I've read that there is an Android app in the works..... They've been on it for a while, so hopefully it will be out soon. Seems to be a big demand for it, so I'll let you know when I read of it's release!

We know it's been promised for some time but work on the Android app is now in progress. We hope to have an update on this before IP.Board 3.2 is released!

Okay, now I'm getting excited,I love trying new apps I've had a droid2 for about six months and have some apps I like but have problems wading through the android app market and haven't really found any recent apps that I like. Apparently Apple has a better app market, wish Android would improve; till then I rely on suggestions from other people. LOL

Andriod app for IPB is now in beta!

The first public beta of the IP.Board Android app is now available for testing.

In the initial release, some functionality is not yet available. This functionality will be added over the course of the beta iterations, on a roughly weekly cycle.

Currently, the following functionality is not yet implemented: Push Notifications, Gallery Upload, Status Update, Edit Forum List. The forum list is also a little rough looking - user interface cleanup will occur later in the beta cycle. Please do not log bug reports for these items being missing or semi-functional. We also ask that you please do not distribute the app to your end-users at this time, as this pre-release version is very rough, likely contains bugs, and is not intended to be reflective of the final release quality.

During the beta, the app will not be available on the Android Market.

Shall advise when it's finalized!!!

I didn't download the app, BUT, when i go through the Safari browser on my iPhone to BtB it is very iPhone friendly.

Tapatalk is a IPBoard MOD that allows your users to browse your forum using a native mobile application. Tapatalk supports iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, webOS and Windows Phone 7. It provides super-fast access to your forum and allows your members to participate more in your forum while on the go.

I loaded the files for this and registered with tapatalk. We're under "health and family".

$2.99 for the app at the apple app store. Bought it and installed it to test. Seems to work well on the iphone. Not sure how this will work for you on the android Tant, but I figure it's worth a go!

Yeah, I prefer tapatalk personally. It automatically brings you all the unread posts and the responding seems better than the free app. You can scroll back easier to see what you've written. I stick to tapatalk now.........
