Hi... I'm wondering if anyone else is getting ECT on a maintenance basis? I went through a series of treatments 3x a week, then 2x a week, then 1x a week, and now it's every 10 days. I know the ect helps because I know what happens when I stop, which I've tried several times. I don't like getting the ECT, and I've been feeling so spacy, it's been hard for me to do my work. I'm on meds, too, and sometimes I'm afraid my body is just screwed up from all the medication and the shock therapy. I'm afraid I won't recognize normal anymore.
Oh well, but you just keep putting one foot in front of the other, right?

i've been trying to get into ect as a last-ditch attempt, so what you're reporting about spaciness scares me- i'm spacy enough as it is.

i figure i'll give it a shot, and if it doesn't work... buh-bye.
