It's lovely, Winter. What a wonderful talent.

What is the symbolism of the owl and the stone? Did it have a special meaning, or was it just an image that you felt drawn to paint?

well i had in mind to paint the owl of a standing stone of some sort. Loads of skteches of different types of stone. Then i remembered the stone that is at newgrange in Ireland. A pagan monument. And took they idea from then on. Being a pagan myself i wanted to give it a pagan feel. I find barn owls have a linked to the other world and it just kinda fell together.

Winter,

I had a look at this site, very sad and moving poetry, is this your work? Rejection is a very painful experience.

hugs

Beautiful art! I paint occasionally and am in awe of talent like yours :) What draws you to birds? I am looking forward to checking your link from time to time for new work.
