Has anyone tried EMDR? My new therapist has suggested it, she says it can provide the same results as CBT but results are seen much faster.

I have never tried it, but I have a friend who is getting good results from it. My friend is working on childhood abuse issues and depression, but it does not seem to be a quick fix sort of therapy from what I have heard. I would think both would be beneficial for you.

Thanks Sunshine :) My new therapist says you feel mentally exhausted afterwards and want to sleep. I'm anxious to get started though. I'm open to trying almost anything at this point. I have a lot of self esteem issues to work through.
